Educational Qualifications/Eligibility: Candidates should posses,
- Vedam: Kramantham/Ghanantham/Salakshna Ghanantham in Krishna Yajur Vedam, Sukla Yajur Vedam, Rig Vedam, Chandogyam in Sama vedam and Samhitha (full portion) in Atharvana Vedam a from recognized institution.
- Agamam: Must possess a Pratishtantham Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Pourohityam/Smartham: Must possess a Shodasa Karmantham certificate from a recognized institution.
- Sanskrit: A pass in Post graduation level examination in Sastra.
- Caretakers: Must possess a certificate in Veda/Agama/Pourohitya/Sastra from a recognized institution.
Age Qualification: Between 18 years to 42 years
